Girls, this women is the BOMB on stage! Her presence can be felt from MILES away! I remember going to see my VERY first Burlesque performance about 5 years ago.
I was going to see “The Steeltown Sirens” at the Casbah in Hamilton. I had NO
idea what I was in for. At the time, I was just curious about this whole “Burlesque” thing.
And there she was, Jezebel DePree… gorgeous, glittery and powerful, on stage, in a long black silky robe and long elegant black gloves. She slowly, and ever so seductively, stripped down to beautiful black lacy lingerie and then began exquisitely painting sweet sticky honey ALL over her BODY!!! I was TOTALLY mesmerized!
She managed to pull of the entire routine in such a sophisticated, tantalizing, feminine, yet oh so “in control” manner, that I was immediately SOLD on the whole idea of performing and teaching this ART form myself!
I felt LIBERATED and ALIVE! I wanted to DO THAT! I wanted to TEACH OTHER women HOW to DO THAT! A few days after the show, I contacted the largest Sensual Dance for Women dance Co. in Canada. I went through the teacher training program to get my certificate to teach sensual dance to women.
… And VOILA! Here I am! Doing EXACTLY what I LOVE! Liberating and empowering myself and other women through movement and sensual expression!
Ladies, I can proudly and honestly say that Jezebel DuPree, is one of my very first Burlesque inspirations! … I KNOW that she will be that for you too!

From Hamilton to Toronto, Chicago, even Bollywood, this vaudevillian vixen has been performing for over 10 years. Jezebel DuPree was a co-founder of Hamilton’s legendary burlesque and vaudeville ensemble The Steeltown Sirens. Boasting their own live band, complete with a dazzling horn section, The Steeltown Sirens performed many shows across Ontario to sold out audiences. They were featured and graced the covers of View Magazine, and Pulse Niagara. They have also appeared twice on the late night show JR. Digs airing on Global, CHTV and MENTV.
A feast for the senses, Jezebel DuPree’s expressive performances were known for their steamy sensuality and cheeky satirical tones using elements of clown and improvisation.
Jezebel Dupree loves sharing the art of burlesque with the burly-curious! Her workshops are fun and playful celebrations of the unique expressions of each woman! She has hosted bachelorette parties and also privately coaches aspiring performers. She has also offered specialty workshops for Aradia Fitness.

Dance is a way for us to communicate and express our innermost feelings. In sensual dance, one is showing with their body, how they are feeling on a intimate,sensual level. It is important to allow for as much relaxation as possible without feeling guilty, ashamed or embarrassed in order for the body to flow naturally and effortlessly. This way the true expression can emanate forth. The more you are able to love and accept YOURSELF, the more that sweet self LOVE will shine in your dance!
