We hear it uttered amongst feminist groups and other sex positive individuals quite often. Particularly when referring the attainment of freedom in the area of sexuality.
So what does “sexual liberation” mean to you?
~Here’s what it means to me~ I strip it right down to the very core of the sexual experience. Sexual Liberation is REALLY primal! It is VERY first chakra based! When a person is able to deeply connect with their own sex center without pain, fear, shame or restriction… they harness the power to direct that energy through-out the body with ease creating balance and well being.
*note “Sexual Liberation” is not acting, or looking a certain way on the outside. Sexual liberation shines from within. The outer appearance is merely a reflection of inner being.
Once you have mastered Mooladhara (first chakra) you can move into the heart and progress on your path, deepening your understanding, intimacy and joy!
The next step will be to move that energy into the heart. The genital/heart connection is powerful, and is what will bring beauty and love into the world.
The root is earth, it is grounding, primal and RAW. When we allow that energy to be fully present within us, we then have the power to move it into action from the heart (air element).
When we operate from the heart, all of our choices are perfect.
